Sarah joined the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club team as Director of Development in March 2023 after working with youth serving organizations since 2010. Sarah started working in programs but found her cause in fundraising and development at both the Cardinal Shehan Center and McGivney Community Center in Bridgeport. She is passionate about the importance of providing educational and enriching opportunities for young people.
Sarah holds a BA from Smith College and is a member of the Board of Directors of Leadership Greater Bridgeport, a program affiliate of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council. She is also a Board Member with the Association of Fundraising Professionals Fairfield County Chapter and served as President in 2021.
