Digital Playgrounds: The Power of Code

Center Stage Theatre presents Musical Theater 101 Workshop

In this fun and engaging musical theater class, students will explore the exciting world of performance! Designed for beginners, this class will introduce young performers to the basics of singing, dancing, and acting, all while building confidence and teamwork. Through interactive exercises, fun theater games, and group performances, students will learn how to express themselves on stage, develop their vocal and movement skills, and discover the joy of bringing a story to life! No prior experience required – just an interest in singing, acting and dancing! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring your energy and enthusiasm!

Come explore the power and versatility of the Apple iPad with our Apple educators. Create and learn how to make music, art and much more! You will be surprised at how much the iPad can create with your imagination! Take your skills to a whole new level and make your technology productive. Limited class size.

Introducing our newest drop-in program! Drop in any week to create your own masterpiece under the guidance of our staff. Whether you feel you're a budding Georgia O'Keefe or Salvador Dali - or still mastering stick figures - you'll enjoy creating art, learning techniques, and making memories with friends. Themes will change weekly and be posted in September. All artwork created before Feb. 1 can be entered in the Club's annual art exhibit (see below!)

Wakeman BGC Creatives is a new music program that will guide and teach children how to play instruments such as piano, guitar, and drums. Music provides members with opportunities to develop skills including focus, attention to detail, memory, language, creativity, empathy, emotional expression and anxiety management. We have Beginner, Intermediate, and Advance Lessons and members will be scheduled according to their skill set. 


Fine Arts Exhibit

Ages: 6-9, 10-12, 13-15, and 16-18

Fee:  None; open to all WBGC members

Event took place in February 2025. Submit artwork January 2026 for the 2026 event.



Each year, we showcase the artistic talent of members in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Fine Arts Exhibit.
