Keystone Club

Keystone Club is the Boys & Girls Club Movement’s ultimate teen program. Keystone Clubs are chartered leadership and service clubs for teens in grades 9-12 and

focuses on three core areas: Character

and Leadership, Service to Club and Community, and Education & Career Exploration.

BGCA hosts an annual National Keystone Conference for Boys & Girls Club teens that brings together members from all across the globe. Throughout the conference, Keystone members engage and socialize with peers, explore relevant issues, and develop skills to support and enhance efforts in their local Boys & Girls Clubs and communities.

Locations: Southport Clubhouse, Smilow-Burroughs Clubhouse, Madison Avenue Community Clubhouse

Keystone Club is designed to help teen members develop good character and become leaders. Each year, Keystoners develop a National Keystone Project which is the combined action of hundreds of local Keystone Clubs resulting in a service project with a national scope. In 2022, the Southport Clubhouse's service project placed in the top three nationwide, and in July 2023, they won first place for their efforts!

Additional Information about Keystone Club:

Some Keystone Club members may be invited to attend Regional and National Conferences with teens from around the globe, allowing them to further develop leadership skills and understand a broader scope of service. Teens can be nominated to steering committees that help organize these Conferences. Fun Facts! Our Keystone Club had a delegate & advisor on the July 2022 & July 2023 National Keystone Conference Steering Committee and an additional 11 teens attending the conference in Anaheim, California and 12 teens attending the conference in Dallas, TX! We even have a Keystone Club member & director on the BGCA Presidents Circle Brand Ambassador Program. Additional fees apply for those who participate in regional/national conferences.
