Youth Cheerleading at Smilow-Burroughs Clubhouse

Get in the Game with the Wakeman BGC Cheerleading Program!

  • Open to students in grades 5 - 8 for the 2025 - 26 school year
  • Cheer season runs August through March* and includes participation during the WBGC Cowboys football season (8 games) and travel basketball season (12 -18 games plus playoffs), as well as exhibition competitions.
  • Practices are held at the Smilow-Burroughs Clubhouse, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8 PM.
  • Parents & guardians are responsible for transportation for all seasons and locations.

*Dates are approximate, and schedules will be distributed when finalized.

Program Fee:

  • Football Season (Sept 15 - Nov 30): $125
  • Basketball Season: $150 

Additional Fees:

  • WBGC Membership: To register for cheer, participants must be Club members. A one-year WBGC Membership is $60 and allows the member to participate in programs at all three WBGC Clubhouses, including summer camps, after school programs, and more!
