• Open to students in grades 3-8 for the 2024-25 school year
• Cheer season runs August through March* and includes participation during the Wakeman BGC Cowboys football season (8 games) and travel basketball season (12-18 games plus playoffs). For the 2024-25 school year, there will be only basketball cheer. Football Cheer will resume for the 2025-26 season.
• Practices are held at the Smilow-Burroughs Clubhouse, Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:15 - 8:15 PM.
• Parents & guardians are responsible for transportation for all seasons and locations.

*Dates are approximate, and schedules will be distributed when finalized.

Program Fee:

• $140 for basketball season
  

Additional Fees:

• WBGC Membership: To register for cheer, participants must be Club members. A WBGC Membership is $165 and allows the member to utilize the facility and register for all other programs offered at our sites, including summer camps, after school programs, and more! • Uniforms, warmups, and pom poms are $100. Football and basketball cheerleaders use the same uniform. Not applicable if your cheerleader is returning and her uniform fits and is in good condition.

Financial assistance may be available to those who qualify.
