In the fall of 2018, Wakeman Boys & Girls Club welcomed the first participants of the Great Futures Mentoring Program at Holland Hill Elementary School in Fairfield. Through this on-site program, Holland Hill students connect with consistent role models, strengthen their academic skills, and socialize with peers.

The Great Futures Mentoring Program at Holland Hill School is a partnership between Wakeman Boys & Girls Club and Holland Hill Elementary School, with the support of Fairfield Public Schools and the Kiwanis Club of Fairfield.

Participation in Great Futures Mentoring also introduces the elementary school students to programs and activities available at the clubhouses and provides fulfilling volunteer opportunities for area teens.
